Joan's 6.5 mile walk today around Sprotborough was well attended, by 33 of us all told. A great walk where we enjoyed/endured rain, wind and sunshine, some gorgeous views and lots of history.
Jayne's Flockton walk. Beautiful views; we ate lunch in a field against a stone wall where we were blessed with sunshine.
A selection of photographs from a foray into Coxley Woods and fields and paths around Netherton led by Janet. Plenty turned up to join in as you can see and as the sun came out later that afternoon the autumnal colours were a picture.. Refreshments were then enjoyed at a local garden centre cafe..
Pam's walk was a good one - see these three snaps below - Diggle to Dovestones 8.5 miles and very scenic. Especially good as it ended up at an ice cream/coffee shop!
Some photos from a recent Map Reading Course run by Susan Worrall from Wakefield Council at Anglers Country Park. Apparently Susan's course was great fun and a resounding success so thanks to her for running it, and to the ladies who attended.
