25 of us set out for a walk around the hills and vales of Lepton. The sun shone, the cows were frisky (thanks Pat and others). Lise swung high.!
At the end Pat said we’d been on two paths she’d never been on before 👍 But now she’s set me a challenge to find three next time! - Ruth Thank you to Bronwyn and Pat for the lovely scenic walk, although it felt like an obstacle course in parts good for the glutes though! - Sue
Thank you so much for the lovely walk today Lesley and the delicious cakes after. I need to do another walk now to burn the calories!
It was lovely to catch up with Anne, Sue, Pat and Rita before we started our walk. The walk took us from Skelmanthorpe down to Sissett, then up and over past Bagden Hall to Deffer woods and Kitchenroyd before climbing back up to Skelmanthorpe. 14 of us enjoyed beautiful views and shaded woodland paths. As always all in very good company.
lovely turn out for the navigation walk. 16 of us, (took me a while to realise that Gwenda is so busy concentration behind Lindsay that I missed her in the photo, sorry). Maps and compasses used along with pylon spotting. - Chris
Thanks to Anne for fabulous walk in Hathersage today. Great group of 8 jJust like a proper Sunday pre Covid but on a Saturday . However,Lise and I were in raptures over this cake at the end! - Gwenda
Thank you to the ladies that joined Jill and I on our walk on Thursday. Unfortunately we had to shorten the walk due to the fields being overgrown and the weather hot. At least we had time to call for a drink at the local pub then some went to the cafe afterwards for cake and icecream.
