Walk updates (after April-June V5 created). 
  1. Thursday 29th May, Anglers and Waterton Park; 6 miles (or option of 5, depending on weather), paths, woodland, fields, lakeside, one overgrown section, easy, meet Anglers Country Park, WF4 2EB, 10.30am, £2 parking (for 4hrs), packed lunch, café, toilets at end, Diane C [07749 045181] and Diane H [07748 577095].
  2. Thursday 12th June, Oxley Trail around Skelmanthorpe and Deffer Woods area. 7.25 miles, Moderate. Tracks, fields and woodland. Beautiful countryside, some steep sections. Meet at 10am at Cross Lane playing fields car park, Skelmanthorpe, HD8 9DH. Teashop at the end in the Carpet Barn, Skelmanthorpe. Jill Mountain 07811 560928.

There will now be a walk offered on a Monday 
BUT it will not be pre-planned and will be arranged last minute … even as late as the Sunday prior to the Monday. If there is no one available or willing to lead, there might not be a walk! Generally the aim is for a 2 to 3 mile walk to help ladies stay fit and in touch, that, for whatever reason, aren’t able to make other walks. There will usually be a café/pub stop afterwards … but it will be up to the leader to decide what suits them.

As such, it will not be possible to pre advertise these Monday walks and details will be circulated on a WhatsApp group. You will have to a member of wwwn (with the usual try 3 walks before you join).
If you don’t do WhatsApp it will be up to you to contact the WWW WhatsApp administrators on the Sunday before the Monday to check where the walk is being held.  You will be able to do this by text only to minimise work for the administrators.
