Last day of a wonderful weekend in the Lake District. Caroline and Denise taking a lunch break by the Lodore Falls close by Derwentwater.
Guess who cranked up a gear on the last couple of miles on receiving news that Leeds United had scored! Apologies to any Barnsley supporters.

The steep struggle up Orrest Head from Windermere was rewarded with a great view over the lake, although some were too busy searching each others sacks for the chocolate bags! Thanks to Caroline for leading the walk on Saturday.
Friday saw us walking in sunshine from Settle along the Ribble to picnic at Stainforth Force and back on the other side of the river past the old lime kilns at Langcliffe. Well led by Pat.
Another enjoyable weekend at Glenthorne in Grasmere. Thanks to all the organisers!
