The weekend at Grasmere I'm sure everyone would agree was a huge success due to our fabulous team of organisers and extraordinary ladies who attended! Many thanks to everyone.
There were options for all and a lot of variety including open top bus rides, boat trips, cultural experiences at The jetty Museum and Dove Cottage, lots of wild swimming! and walks for all abilities.
Also great evening entertainment with The 2 Ronnie's Sketch which will have to be repeated for those not there as it was so good. What a talented set of ladies we have! The scenery, accommodation, food, weather also were fabulous. We are so lucky to have these experiences. - Gwenda

Swimming in Grasmere, Caroline and Lise introduced six other ladies to this wonderful experience. Our thanks to the photographers and dressers.
We were professionally entertained by Pat and Bronwyn who performed a very funny ‘sketch’ on Saturday aided briefly by Jennifer who had two very big parts (you had to be there!)!
A very enjoyable weekend at Grasmere May 2022. 7 ladies joined me for each of my three walks. We climbed up to Victoria caves above Settle on Friday. - Caroline
Then we climbed up Orrest Head above Windermere on Saturday before wending our way along to Ambleside for a refreshing beer then back along to Grasmere on Saturday.
On Sunday we did another climb, the steepest yet, to Alcock tarn above Grasmere. We had fabulous weather so were able to enjoy the views on all three days.

Nature surpassed itself with many of us seeing the red squirrel in the grounds of Glenthorne as well as a close encounter with a cockchafer beetle. The lambs were all gambling and there was a wide range of wild flowers.
