Holiday Weekends organised by WWWN – Refund Policy
It is an agreed aim that the majority, if not all, of the holiday weekends organised by the WWWN are booked at Youth Hotels or Hotels on an exclusive basis ie as a group we have sole occupancy of the Venue.
We prefer sole occupancy because it allows us privacy, for example in dining, in use of bathrooms where these aren’t ensuite, and in arranging communal activities according to the Venue’s facilities.
The organisers of Holiday weekends typically negotiate a price to rend the whole of the Venue to allow us sole occupancy. This price should include all gratuities. To establish this status we have to agree a minimum occupancy number which is only secured once payment has been made to the Venue. If this occupancy number is subsequently reduced for any reason then we could lose sole occupancy status.
Since these holiday weekend rates are especially negotiated by and for the WWWN, we frequently do not enjoy the YHA’s or Hotel’s standard refund policies ie the Venue may not support offering refunds to the WWWN.
What this means to WWWN members;
After an event is over, the Organisers will always aim to help with refunds where ever possible – but refunds cannot be guaranteed.

- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If a member has to cancel their booking, regardless of the reason, the full balance of payment may not be refundable.
