Thank you to all who joined us and made it a fun day. - Gwenda.
Anne's walk round Harewood on Sunday was blessed with good walking weather. Deer, Red Kites and Snowdrops were a bonus as was the outdoor gym session! Thank you to all who joined us and made it a fun day. - Gwenda. Barbara, Linz and I had a super walk this morning. We started with blue skies, saw a full rainbow, experience strong gusts of wind and some rain. Our walk took us through woods and fields, up a couple of hills and down again - all very beautiful scenery. We came across a rope swing in Deffer woods and we all had a go. Yes there was some mud, but hey it's winter. - Lise
Free parking at Anglers as the machine wasnt working - again - but why should we complain. 25 ladies enjoyed a walk through lovely scenery. We had lunch by the shores of the lower lake at Nostell Priory, with time to admire the waterfall. Having managed to guide people away from mud for most of the walk I led them over a very, very muddy field en route to Anglers! Thanks for your company ladies! - Lise
Everyone was keen to get out in the fresh air today ... and no rain for the first time in weeks. 33 of us slipped and slided our way through some mud and negotiated our way over some tricky stiles - a proper work out to start the New Year.
Thankyou for joining me, Caroline For those who have read my novel “ Lost at Sea” say hello to Samuel my great nephew who is the inspiration for the main character Samuel Castle .
