Just Gwenda and I for the pool walk 16th June. Yes it was too hot! So we did cut it short to 7.5 miles for safety's sake. We saw two deer so well worth the journey. and here is a lovely picture Gwenda took of the sculpture. - Caroline
Another lucky weather day, walk to Temple Newsam and back. 20 walkers gathered beneath the beacon in Little Smeaton anticipating the festivities celebrating the platinum jubilee of Queen' s reign. This led to a lovely walk through the Went valley and Brockadale returning to The Shouder of Mutton before the downpour. - Joan
Here I am again! Eight of us had a very pleasant walk 29/5/22 from Rothwell Country Park, up to Temple Newsam then through the village where Gwenda grew up! We were very lucky with the weather and Jayne found me extra historical info! Thank you to all who joined me on my trip down memory lane! - Gwenda

The 9ish miles turned out to be 10, but my companions were very forgiving. Not sure I'd have walked across the Kinder Moor part on a bad day. However on Saturday the views going up and going down were fabulous,
