Here's a message from Ivy;
"I would like to thank all the people who came on the walk today - the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed our walk. I only took a couple of photos but they are attached."
The photos haven't arrived yet but I think they'll arrive soon so I'll post as soon as I get them.

Monday 1st October - and here are some photos from Gillian (Jill) - who says "As you will see "girls just wanna have fun"  It was  glorious day and we enjoyed some fantastic views."
It does seem like there was a lot of laughter and  playing around.  I'm sorry I missed it!

Sunday 16th September - Otley

This came in from Jayne today;
"Six ladies joined me for a trot around Lower Wharefedale on Sunday starting in Otley. The weather wasn’t as bad as the photo suggests; it was only towards the end that we got a bit damp.  Of course by the time we got back to the car park it looked much brighter, isn’t that always the way!
Varied terrain with some interesting little communities such as Weston and Clifton dating back to the 1600’s. One or two tricky stiles but that was no problem to the long legs or even the four pairs of little ones that were with us. I enjoyed the company so thanks ladies for coming."

Downhill all the way back, yippee!

Thursday 13th September - Horbury Bridge

Carole gave us a walk from Horbury Bridge to Chickenly today, through fields, paths, along disused railway & a canal towpath. She said there'd be fine views of the Calder Valley and she was right! Spectacular.  The only thing is, we have no photographs of the scenery today!  We're slipping!  So, instead, here are lots of photos taken at Bosca in Horbury Bridge of the post-walk analysis AKA cake, coffee (or in one serious case, red wine) and a good chin wag.  Lots of laughs this afternoon.  Thank you for a great afternoon Carole!

Cober Hill, Scarborough

Cober Hill is a Victorian mansion, steeped in history and set in 11 acres of stunning grounds. Nestled in the North York Moors National Park and Heritage Coast, ensuring breathtaking views, this was the location for our last walking weekend of 2018.

A special page for Cober Hill has been set up and I'm hoping lots of photos and stories will follow so I can share them with you all soon! Scarborough - September 2018
