Yesterday's was the last walk before Christmas. I'm really sorry to say I had to miss it because the lurgy had me in its clutches so I was incarcerated at home, but judging by the photo evidence I received last night it was a well attended event. Walking women will go a long way for a mince pie! Artistic shot here ... I think they are trying to say it was a muddy walk on this one. The spirit of Christmas ... at least that's what they tried to tell me. Coffee and tea was served after the walk; nobody mentioned spirits before or during though this shot makes me doubt it, specially the one in blue who's leaning ever so slightly! I know, it's usual to see tractors in fields. I can't explain what this steam engine was doing. Any suggestions anyone? AND FINALLY ... BACK FOR MINCE PIES I see no ships! Wonder what she's seeing? Or singing!
Ann and Elaine led a very lively 5.5 mile walk around Digley reservoir today. It was wild, windy, thoroughly enjoyable and there were no cobwebs left when we finished!
