10 of us met at Ramsden reservoir car park for an 8 miler with Regina on Sunday. Although we set off in distinctly damp conditions it soon became warm and sunny and the various layers came off and got tucked into the rucksacks. Lovely views with lots of lambs, alpacas and daffodils and just a few remaining muddy patches. We called in at The Fleece pub in the village of Holme for some refreshment near the end of the walk and we spent 10 ridiculous minutes explaining what a 'crumpet' was to Regina (our honorary Yorkshire woman ) it was more difficult than one would expect! Anyway a lovely walk as always in this fabulous scenic valley. Cheers Regina.
