Once again the weather was kind to us. Only a few rain spots whilst having lunch. The walk had a few ups and downs but great views.

​We had a steady climb from Clayton West through the grounds of Bagden Hall up to the top  end of Deffer Woods. Finished by walking back up to Skelmanthorpe through woodland and by a little stream where I took the photo. A good day! - Stephanie

Lovely walk from Netherton, Carole demonstrated the bespoke boot store at Earnshaws.

The weather was so lovely for us. We stopped at Earnshaw's for a comfort break and saw Ann Kaye there! We chatted to the owners and told them how we liked the woodland trail for the children with lots to see and explore. Had lunch with a view at Denby Grange cricket field. Walked back through Coxley to the Star Inn where we enjoyed drinks in the beer garden again with lovely views. A very enjoyable day.
