Thank you to the ladies that joined Jill and I on our walk on Thursday. Unfortunately we had to shorten the walk due to the fields being overgrown and the weather hot. At least we had time to call for a drink at the local pub then some went to the cafe afterwards for cake and icecream. Thanks Diane for leading a lovely walk at short notice. Made all the more special when Denise found us half way through the walk. - Lise
Many thanks to the 22 lovely ladies who joined me on my walk today. Pleased you all enjoyed it. Diane
My apologies Ladies, life has been rather hectic and I have not had time to source the blog material and post it. However, I have caught up and will be posting future blogs. Do please email me future blogs.
Lise Six of us enjoyed a lovely walk of bluebells, lambs, woods, fields and good company from Golden Acre Park round Harewood today. We all shared carrying an extra rucksack after lunch as we found one 'abandoned' near a gate. Concern for the owner led to phone calls and us agreeing to take the rucksack with us back to Golden Acre - where the owner of the rucksack containing lap top, school records and personal ID had arranged for a very grateful partner to collect it. Well done ladies - great team work. Thankyou. - Caroline
One of our ladies captured a brilliant rainbow 🌈 at the start of our walk today. Despite the high winds and an odd rain shower, we all managed to navigate through the mud and puddles successfully. A nice dry lunch on the hillside was enjoyed by all and one lady also found a fantastic spot with an excellent back rest!!
Thank you Linda for a fabulous walk today x 12 ladies attended the longer than usual walk (9 miles) from Aberford on 6th April. We found a spot out of the wind with a back rest for lunch. Well done all - I knew you could do it. Caroline
