Parked in the pouring rain at Bingley station and tramped past the famous 5 rise locks and various snickets and ginnels around Micklethwaite, East Morton and Riddlesden. Had a rather damp lunch under a leaky tree at East Riddlesdon Hall before returning to Bingley along the canal.
The autumn colours were stunning and what views we could see under the mist were probably good. At the end of the walk we all had tea and cake at a lovely canal café and of course by then it had stopped raining! Pats on the back to all six of us for persevering and not letting the rain get the better of us. Thanks go to the leaders. - Jayne W
