The massive sum of 11 ladies joined Pauline on her walk starting at Fountains Abbey. (Yep 12 of us, a good backmarker must be able to count). A lovely route along the seven bridges walk that was. (Apparently not seven anymore). Over a hill, following a river to have lunch at the edge of Ripon. Then back through Studley Royal to see the deer. We saw three males with their antlers and further away was quite a few female deer. The route also took us past the oldest Cherry tree in the country and the ornate Church. A lovely route on a great day.
Three of us then had a short stroll within the grounds of Fountains Abbey as we had travelled too far not to. - Chris
