As the church was unlocked we took the opportunity to explore the interior, appreciating the stained glass windows and embroidery that was on display as well as learning about Lady Elizabeth Hastings who was a major benefactor of the area.

![]() 19 ladies enjoyed a lovely walk from the RSPB reserve at Fairburn Ings to Ledston and Ledsham. Passing crowds of golden daffodils and clusters of snowdrops, a fallow deer and several birds. We had lunch in the sun in the grounds of All Saints Parish Church at Ledsham, where we saw our first primroses. As the church was unlocked we took the opportunity to explore the interior, appreciating the stained glass windows and embroidery that was on display as well as learning about Lady Elizabeth Hastings who was a major benefactor of the area. Thanks for a lovely walk Joan.
