Against all the odds Atsuko led 24 of us on this 7 mile walk around Penistone. As we set off we had the usual discussions about when mist becomes fog - but the definitions made no difference, it was just plain wet. We climbed a steep hill so I'm sure the views would have been fabulous had we been able to see them. Visibility was so poor that you could scarcely see 5m in front of you at some points, which made map reading and landmark spotting a dark art! Well done Atsuko - but will you please put this walk on again in the summer when we can see the views? And here are a couple of photos I took as we set off from the car park at Cubley Hall.
