We all think we're invincible, don't we? Well, I've been clumsy all my life and last Thursday was no different. I fell into an emty milk crate as I climbed over a stile so I was still nursing a dodgy hip yesterday and didn't walk. It looks like I missed out on a good day, for all the horrible weather which was forecast.

"26 of us started at Horbury bridge, and made our way up to Cocksley Valley. We ate a picnic lunch in Thornhill rectory park. The views were fabulous as usual. The weather was kind to us; we only had a couple of quick showers. A lovely day was had by all."
She topped off her report with words which made me even more envious ...
"Most of us then went to Boscos for coffee and cake."
