Pat C led this walk, and Jennifer sent me this write up together with photographic evidence. Personally I'm intrigued by the "ish" bit!
"24 ish of us met in Gawthorpe, just a stones throw from where I live for a 6 mile walk. Pat took us on footpaths that I never knew existed on my own door step. Also she must have been saying her prayers last night because we had sunshine all day. She did say her knees were sore so I'm sure that's what she meant!!!!
We had our lunch in the lovely garden of Pat's friend Jenny. Thank you Jenny for your hospitality. As usual we ended the walk with a visit to the Shoulder of Mutton in Gawthorpe. A good day was had by all."
Thank you for the walk Pat, and Jennifer - beautiful photos. Some are surreal! This just goes to show that even when you think you know an area well, a walk can still introduce you to new bits.
